About the event

Join us for an enlightening event to empower parents, educators, and caregivers with essential knowledge and strategies for supporting dyslexic students within the educational system. Dyslexia affects reading and language processing skills and can be challenging for students' success. However, with specialized interventions and accommodations students can gain academic success. At this event, participants will gain insights into students' timeline trajectory, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and discover effective ways to advocate for and implement accommodations that meet the unique needs of dyslexic learners.

We'll explore how to partner with your educators to create and use IEPs that are personalized for each child's unique needs. Learn how to set appropriate goals, accommodations, and modifications that optimize learning outcomes for dyslexic students. Participants will also explore evidence-based strategies and assistive technologies to support dyslexic learners in accessing the curriculum and achieving their full potential.
