Understanding Dyslexia and Supporting Your Child
Join us in North Vancouver at the Lions Gate Community Centre for an informative and welcoming parent workshop on dyslexia, early reading screening, and how to support your child at school. This session will provide clear, practical information to help families understand how children learn to read, what dyslexia is and is not, and what effective support looks like in today’s classrooms.
The workshop will be presented by Alicia Smith, Executive Director of Dyslexia Canada, in partnership with Dyslexia Decoded. Parents and caregivers will leave with greater confidence, useful tools, and a clearer sense of how to advocate for their child’s learning needs.
